Family Health Guide welcomes you to submit your health/medical related news, articles and press releases.

• Articles from Doctors, Researchers and Medical Professionals will either be posted in the 'Featured Articles' or 'News' section.

• Articles concerning a personal health story will be published in the 'User Stories' section.

Tips For Getting Medical Articles Published:

• Make sure the press release is newsworthy.

• Tell the audience that the information is intended for them and why they should continue to read it.

• Start with a brief description of the news, then distinguish who announced it, and not the other way around.

• Ask yourself, "How are people going to relate to this and will they be able to connect?"

• Make sure the first 10 words of your release are effective, as they are the most important.

• Avoid excessive use of adjectives and fancy language.

• Provide relevant information about the authours qualifications and or experience.

• Provide as much Contact information as possible: Individual to Contact, address, phone, fax, email, Web site address.

Tips For Getting User Stories Published:

• Many people have personal stories of dealing with a health issue or health concern that will be of benefit to other people dealing with the same issue.

• Try to include the steps you took. What was your condition and symptoms? How did you deal with the symptoms? How was your life affected by the condition and by the treatment you underook. If appropriate where can people find more information? 

• We won't publish articles recommending dangerous or risky advice.

All othe articles will be reviewed by medical professionals before they are published. There is no guarnatee that your article will be published. Family Health Guide reserves the right to amend articles for spelling and grammar.
