Following a high fat fast food meal with a cup of coffee doubles the spike in blood sugar levels. It's hard news for java lovers to swallow, but new research finds that the fast food-coffee combo is a risky one.

The research, published in the Journal of Nutrition, is the first to study the ramifications of combined saturated fat and coffee with caffeine on levels of sugar in the blood.

Study Shows Low-fat Dairy Doesn't Help Children Lose Weight

Kids_and_dairySwitching children from regular to low fat dairy products doesn't necessarily help them lose weight.

Research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that changing to low fat dairy reduced the amount of fat children consumed, but didn't make any difference to their weight or Body Mass Index (BMI).
