Watercress Battles Breast Cancer
A study conducted by researchers at the University of Southampton has shown that a plant compound found in watercress may suppress breast cancer development by starving the tumor of nutrients.
The research, published in both the British Journal of Nutrition and Biochemical Pharmacology, supports evidence that the watercress compound is able to intercede with the task of a protein that plays a crucial part in cancer development.
