Our extremities are the first to suffer when our blood circulation slows down, so it’s important that we take care of our legs and feet.
Do the following exercise whenever convenient and particularly if you have been sitting for extended periods.
Leg Raising (20 times) Keeping your legs straight, point your feet and toes forwards and raise the leg 45 degrees. Hold to a count of three and lower slowly to the floor. Repeat with your other leg.
Foot Bending (10-15 time) Point you feet and toes upwards as far as you can manage and then point them down. Repeat this action vigorously.
Foot Circling (15 times) Working from your ankles, circle your foot in one direction. Repeat in the other direction.
