but how can you pin it down to a food you ate one or two days ago?? Kinesiology sounds interesting - I'll check it out on Google. Did it work for you?

Hi...

I'm currently having severe headaches every day. My doctor seems to think that it is a food trigger but I've cut out everything that he recommended already and the headaches continue. I'm looking for a list of foods that are known headache triggers. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it....

From my experience it is probably something you are eating.
Steer away from any artificial additives i.e. citric acid, suplphites, malto-dextrose etc etc.
Only eat foods that haven't been pre-prepared and preserved for shelf-life.

Also as it's every day you are getting headaches - it may be something like the additives that are in wheat bread and flour. They contain preservatives and whiteners.

Try eating rice and wheat free pastas etc. for a few days to see if your headaches clear - and keep a mental note of what you are eating. It's a process of elmination.

If I have eaten one of my no's - the headache often comes out 1 or 2 days later.

I've tried it all! I personally think it's down to keeping a diary of the foods you eat and also when the migraines occur and then see if there is a corelation. Eventually you will intuitively know what your triggers are. I take a paracetamol before I go out eating or drinking and one when I get back - as I know I will probably have something out that doesn't agree. That way I can by-pass the migraine. Also I think our livers are exposed to so much crap these days that they are saying "ouch I can't take anymore crap" - so try and look after your liver. Try Milk Thistle herbal tablets to see if that helps and eat wholesome home-made food. Food manufacturers really need to cotton on that more and more people are suffering food intolerances and that the artificial additives they put into food could be the reason.
