Prolapsed Disc... How risky is surgery 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi

I have a friend who has been diagnosed with a single prolapsed disc - apparently it''s beyond natural repair. Her specialist reckons he will need to operate.

This means 2 days in hospital which isn''t too bad. I think they will do keyhole surgery??

The reason for the post is to ask if anyone else has had this operation and if they have any advice or comments on how successfull it really is.. My friend has heard that there is a small risk of paralysis
