In August an interesting article was published in the British Medical Journal about whether eating fruit and vegetables reduces the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The findings of the research, a meta-analysis of six separate studies, seemed to suggest that eating green leafy vegetables (GLV) does indeed reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
