Derma Fillers

Derma fillers include both collagen injections and the more recent soft tissue injections with hyaluronic acid for example Juvaderm and Restylane. As we get older collagen breaks down and normal levels of hyaluronic acid are reduced. Derm fillers replace natural levels of collagen or hyaluronic acid via injections directly into the dermal layer of the skin. This has the effect of adding volume to the skin, filling in lines and wrinkles and giving the skin a plumper more youthful appearance.
