I get the same thing, but usually accompanied by a back ache. I havent had a period for 4 months, but wondered if you still get the pains and not the bleed. Somebody who had had a hystorectomy told me that they still got period pains and no bleed. Does anybody know?

As part of my menopause, I currently take estradiol because I experience irritations when I urinate. I also get that itching/burning sensation on my vaginal area. So far, it’s helped me a lot. Now I'm not sure if it's related to this nausea I'm experiencing. Feels like morning sickness. Waking up anxious, sweating and tensed. Do you think it's a side effect of the med I use or is this another symptom of menopause?

I'm 51, and for the past few weeks I've had a sensation of burning/pain in my vagina on and off, and a feeling of tenderness in my pelvis, as though I'm about to come on. I haven't had a proper period for a few months. I've been tested for all infections, and now I've been prescribed oestrogen cream in the form of a vaginal pessary. I've taken this for the last 9 nights but still suffer from a burning in my vagina and pelvic discomfort. Maybe things will improve when I've been using the pessaries for longer. Have you still got your vaginal pain?
